Answer: Yes, JALS is a refereed journal. It follows double blind review process.

Answer: There is no word/page limit in a paper, but the paper should not exceed 25 pages (double space, 12 fonts).

12. How much time does JALS take in review process?
Answer: The editorial board is highly committed to the quick review process of the paper, but not with the sacrifice of the right judgment of a paper. The review process takes maximum two weeks.

13. Does JALS require any publication fee?
Answer: BRPI follows a gold open access publication model, ensuring that all published papers are freely available to the public. Authors from higher and middle-income countries are required to pay a publication fee of $350 per paper, while authors from low-income countries (defined as those with a GNI per capita of less than $3,000), as well as PhD scholars and currently unemployed academics, are charged a reduced fee of $250 per paper. Print copies of the journal are available for purchase at $50 per copy. Notably, the publication fee is charged only after the paper has been accepted for publication by the reviewers. All papers are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), permitting unrestricted use and distribution. Authors retain the copyright to their works, safeguarding their intellectual property rights. BRPI adheres to industry standards in open access publishing and maintains a no-waiver policy, meaning the fees are uniformly applied to all authors without exception.

14. What is the acceptance rate of papers?
Answer: 25% –35%.

15. Can I submit more than one paper for the same issue?
Answer: Yes, you can submit more than one paper at a time.

16. My paper has been accepted for publication. How can I pay the publication fee?

17. I want to know about the copyright policy of JALS.
Answer: Copyrights for articles published in JALS are retained by the authors, with first publication rights granted to the journal. The journal/publisher is not responsible for subsequent uses of the work. It is the author's responsibility to bring an infringement action if so desired by the author.
