Youth Leadership in Agriculture: Lessons for Educators and Practitioners - Part II
Richard O. Omotoye

Abstract
This paper is a follow-up to the pilot study published in 2021 (Omotoye, 2021) that spotlighted transformational and generational trends in the agriculture industry and investigated youth-associated perceptions concerning the industry. Efforts in this follow-up investigation focus on comparing the baseline study with similar studies investigating the same issue to determine evidence of coherence. The benchmarking inquiry suggests resounding evidence of coherence between the pilot study and similar studies on factors attracting and retaining youth to agriculture. The study also spotlights broad consensus among scholars on the agriculture industry's shifting trends and evolving tendencies and examines emergent roles and responsibilities for stakeholders, consequent to observed trends.
